Tips for Reading:

-         Read books to your child everyday. Make book reading part of your daily routine.

-         Allow the child to turn pages and manipulate the book.

-         Talk about the story before and during reading. Ask questions and comment on the pictures and events in the story. Relate and refer to child’s own life and experience.
