Great Books for Parents

Great Books for parents recommend by bilingual Speech Pathologist

Carol Yus, MS, CCC-SLP

Tips for Choosing Books:

-         Choose books that are sturdy (board books are better) and with bright clear pictures.

-         Prefer books with short, simple sentences with lots of repetitions and rhymes.

-         Books about everyday activities and topics your child is familiar with.

-         Books that encourage the child to participate by making sounds, repeating words, opening flaps, or answering questions.
