Our Service Coordination Department

EICB provides service coordination services to developmentally delayed children who need coordinated access to our Early Intervention services. Our highly trained staff of service coordinators work with other professionals to develop and monitor Individual Family Service Plans and assure the delivery of therapeutic services.

Our service coordination department is primarily bilingual. This allows parents/families to feel comfortable communicating their child's and their own needs with a staff member who can understand their native language.

Services Offered by our Service Coordinators

  • Monitor child's therapeutic services
  • Serve as a liaison between parents and service providers
  • Advocate for children and their families
  • Assist families in applying for welfare/SSI/housing benefits/medical benefits/WIC
  • Collaborate with center-based and home-based providers
  • Guide parents through CPSE transitioning process when needed
  • Locate appropriate post-EI programs for children who age out of our program

The service coordination department organizes an annual food and clothing drive. Staff members donate non perishable goods and clothing to be distributed to our needy families. Thanksgiving baskets are sent home to those families in need. During the holiday season, parents are invited to come and pick out free clothes for themselves and their family members. Clothes are distributed throughout the school year, based on need as they become available.
